Membership helps support our mission, from conservation efforts and research to animal care and educational fun.
Purchase a Membership for yourself or a loved one to enjoy one year of unlimited admission, early-access event tickets, exclusive Member events, shopping and dining discounts, free parking year-round, and more. You can also gift a membership to a friend.
Membership Levels
We have a Membership Package option that is sure to meet anyone's needs. See below for more information on each membership level.

Includes ONE adult cardholder (age 18 and older) + ONE guest per day

Family | $195
Includes TWO adult cardholders (or ONE adult cardholder and ONE guest) + Children 17 and under per day
How To Visit (Daily Admission)
Online Assured Admissions for Members
We set aside a select number of entry slots just for our Members! Reserve yours online in advance for assured entry on the day and time you wish to visit.
To reserve, click Reserve Your Visit below, create an account, click Register at the top right, sign in, then select Member Admission and reserve your spot for free.
Call-Ahead Admissions for Members
We welcome Members to visit even if Online Assured Admissions slots have sold out for the day and time you wanted. Call Guest Services to reserve your preferred date and time to visit. Members who call ahead will receive an email confirmation with their tickets after completing their reservation with us, which can be scanned via smartphone at the Exhibits Gallery entry OR printed out by our team upon arrival.
Walk-In Admissions for Members
We welcome Members to visit even if Online Assured Admissions slots have sold out for the day and time you wanted. Stop by the Admissions Desk for the next available walk-in time (Note: Members who visit as walk-ins may need to wait before they are granted entry).
Must Know Information
Member cards are non-transferable. A photo ID must be provided at check in to use membership benefits, including admission. If an individual cannot provide a valid photo ID, even if they present a membership card, admission can be denied.
For Family Membership Only: you may contact Guest Services and inform us in advance that a caregiver, rather than a primary parent or guardian, will be bringing your children (ages 17 and under) to the Aquarium. Proof of membership is required.
Online reservations are recommended. If you are experiencing technical difficulties with your online account, please call or email for assistance.
Changes can be made in person, by phone, or email from the primary email on file. Named guests can only be changed to the primary account holder. When a change is made, new cards can be emailed at no charge. Physical cards can be printed in person at the request of a member.
Parking is free for members year-round. To ensure free parking during your visit, your license plate number must be registered with our database. If you did not provide your license plate number upon purchasing/renewing your membership, please use the link below or stop by the Admission Desk on your next visit. The number of license plates permitted is dependent on the level of membership.

Children 4 years old and under are free and do not need to be covered by the membership, but require a free child ticket for entrance. Youth/children covered under a membership must be accompanied by at least one named cardholder to access member benefits including admission. FOR FAMILY MEMBERSHIPS ONLY, an unnamed caregiver is permitted to accompany the member’s children without the named cardholder. Advanced tickets and proof of membership are required.
Membership admission privileges may not be used in conjunction with field trips or group visits due to associated programming costs and other expenses. Field trip or group visit activities and programming are pre-reserved. Individuals not included in a paid field trips or group reservations risk being excluded from those activities due to space limits.
As a visitor, you may be photographed and/or filmed. Such photography/videography may be used for educational, commercial, or promotional purposes. By purchasing a membership, you agree to hold harmless Virginia Aquarium and the City of Virginia Beach from any claim arising out of or pertaining to the use of your image or likeness for the above stated purposes.
