Registration for 2026 Summer Camps opens April 13 at 9:00am for members and April 15 at 9:00am for the public.

The Virginia Aquarium is excited to host summer day camps for eager explorers. All camps offer a safe and unique experience for campers to connect with science and nature. Camps are offered for children ages 4 to 15, who must meet the specified age requirement by the time a camp begins.

Camps for Ages 4-6

Creepy Crawlies (2-Day)

Animals that seem creepy are just misunderstood. Get down and dirty along the Nature Trail to meet insects and other terrestrial invertebrates and play games to discover why these creepy creatures are important parts of a healthy ecosystem.

Junior Vet (5-Day)

Using your imagination, pretend to be a veterinarian through role play, fun hands-on activities, and creative crafts. Learn more about animal care as you meet some of the Aquarium's resident animals and the people who look after their well-being.

Marine Explorers (3-Day)

Learn how you can participate in habitat restoration, water quality testing, and other conservation projects.
