Summer Camp Registration Now Open!

Carefully follow the steps below to ensure your camper's spot in one of our awesome summer camps!


1. Select a camp - Read the camp descriptions below to select the best camp for your child.


2. Reserve your spot - After selecting the correct camp, click the link below the camp descriptions to purchase and reserve your selected camp. Please note that full payment is due at this time.


3. Receive confirmation - Your registration is not yet complete. AFTER you have purchased your camp, you will receive a confirmation email with further instructions.
If the selected camp has been sold out, you may contact us* to be placed on a waitlist.


4. Complete and return appropriate forms - Complete the Program Registration and applicable health forms, downloadable from the links below under "Camp Forms."

Through experiments and science play, find out why water is so important for living things. Discover what’s living in water as you explore aquarium habitats and Owls Creek.
$120 (Members $100)

Explore the job of a veterinarian through role-play, observing live animals, learning proper animal handling techniques, and meeting our vet team.
$120 (Members $100)

Learn about animal anatomy and behaviors through this camp that’s full of fun hands-on activities. Dissect fish and squid, learn about parasites and other animals with gross reputations, and explore how animals pee and poop.
$120 (Members $100)

Explore local watersheds to observe some of the animals that make our waterways a unique resource. Search for life in a pond, kayak to explore a marsh, trawl for fish and invertebrates, and investigate water in a laboratory.
$420 (Members $350)

Investigate animal adaptations through live animal encounters, behind-the-scenes experiences, and STEM-focused activities. Explore how animals use super senses and super strength to survive in their environment.
$420 (Members $350)

Get an up-close look at the marine life and habitats in our area through lab studies, aquarium observations, and field explorations. Trawl for fish and invertebrates aboard the Ocean Explorer, go dolphin watching by kayak, seine in the waters of the Chesapeake Bay, and try SCUBA at Lynnhaven Dive Center.
$480 (Members $420)

August 8-9 | 9:00am-4:00pm


Compare and contrast pond, marsh, bay, and ocean ecosystems through field explorations. Learn how to collect aquatic animals for study and what it takes to maintain aquarium systems at home and at the Virginia Aquarium.
$240 (Members $200)
