We are not scheduling Class Boat Tours at this time.

Allow your class to experience the wonders of Virginia's waters. Each tour also includes a cruise through Owl’s Creek and a lesson on salt marsh ecology.

Dolphin Discoveries

Observe bottlenose dolphins, Virginia’s most common marine mammal, up-close during this ocean excursion. Students will delve further into dolphin behaviors and marine mammal conservation. Biofacts and other visual aids add a hands-on element to the tour. (Sightings cannot be guaranteed)

Whales and Wildlife

Did you know that large whales visit the coast of Virginia each winter? Educators will share three decades' worth of knowledge, research, and experience with our local whales and wildlife. Students will search out whales, dolphins, seals, and seabirds that highlight the diversity just off our coastline. (Sightings cannot be guaranteed)

Seal Spotting

Seals are frequent visitors to this area when the water temperatures drop, although their favorite haul-out spots can make them difficult to see. Catch eye-level observations while learning about the species that frequent our waters as well as the most recent research conducted by the Virginia Aquarium’s Stranding Response Team.
