Children must be at least 48 inches tall. Appropriate footwear required. Guests must be able to climb stairs.

Seals Behind the Scenes

• Go inside the habitat of the harbor seals get an up-close view
• Observe the animal care staff as they conduct a behavioral training session
• Learn about the biology and the conservation efforts regarding seals
• Receive a souvenir CD of your life experience!

Children must be at least 3 years old. Appropriate footwear required. Guests must be able to climb stairs.

Above & Beyond

• Accompany an educator through the inner workings of the Virginia Aquarium
• Find out what it takes to keep the animals healthy and their habitat clean
• Learn about the careers that make an aquarium work, from animal care to engineering
