The Aquarium believes that learning about the marine environment is an important step in the conservation of marine habitats and the animals that live there. The more we know, then the more we can take action to protect coasts and oceans around the world. We can't do it alone, and that's where you come in! Let us share our knowledge and research with your family or group in programs for all ages.
Programs for Any Age
During every visit to the Aquarium, you'll discover the marine world with the help of our knowledgeable staff and volunteers, but join us for several specialized programs that will enhance your visit such as boat trips and behind-the-scenes tours. We welcome early learners to participate in weekly activities and games designed specifically for young age groups. After-school and summer programs for teens offer science-based activities that foster the growth of young scientists.
School Programs and Scout Workshops
Visit the Aquarium or let us come to your school with activities and animals that will enchant and engage your students. The Education Department develops programs for all grade levels, so check out our Educational Resources to select the right program for your students. The Aquarium also offers a unique space for scouts to earn badges and patches with a variety of workshops and overnight opportunities.
