The day-to-day operations of the Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center are overseen by the Executive Director, who also oversees the City’s historic houses and reports to the Assistant City Manager for the Department of Museums. The Aquarium’s nonprofit Foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees; the President’s Circle are trustees emeritus and are active members of the Foundation.
